GameCam Data Deletion Instructions
1. Disconnect streaming accounts in GameCam
- Open GameCam.
- Open Settings, then Streaming.
- Select YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook.
- Tap the connected-account button to disconnect that provider.
- For Custom RTMP, remove the saved server URL and stream key.
This removes the applicable connection information stored by GameCam on that device.
2. Remove all local GameCam data
Delete recordings and clips from GameCam and your device gallery. To remove all remaining settings and credentials, use Android Settings > Apps > GameCam > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall GameCam.
3. Revoke Facebook access
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy > Settings.
- Open Apps and Websites.
- Select GameCam Score & Highlights or GameCam.
- Choose Remove.
You can also visit Facebook Apps and Websites settings while signed in.
4. Revoke YouTube or Twitch access
- Google/YouTube: remove GameCam through your Google Account's third-party connections page.
- Twitch: revoke GameCam in Twitch account settings under Connections.
Revoking access prevents future use of that provider by GameCam. Live videos already published remain under the provider's control and must be deleted from that provider's dashboard or account.
5. Request assistance
If you need help or want confirmation regarding a deletion request, email courtsidelabsapps@gmail.com with the subject GameCam Data Deletion Request. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or stream keys.
Because CourtSide Labs does not maintain a GameCam user database, we will ordinarily confirm that there is no server-side GameCam account data to delete and provide steps for removing local and provider-held data.
6. What deletion does not remove
Clearing GameCam does not automatically delete broadcasts, recordings, comments, analytics, billing records, or other information retained by Google, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, your custom RTMP provider, or your device backup service. Contact the applicable provider for that data.
