Terms of Service - GameCam

Effective: June 29, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the GameCam mobile application provided by CourtSide Labs. By using GameCam, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

GameCam provides tools for recording sporting events, adding score overlays, creating highlights, controlling the scoreboard from another device, and optionally streaming to third-party platforms. Features may change as the App develops.

2. Your responsibilities

Use GameCam only for lawful purposes.
Obtain permission to record, display, or stream players, spectators, venues, music, logos, and other protected content.
Obtain any consent required for minors and comply with venue, league, school, and local rules.
Keep your device and streaming credentials secure.
Do not use GameCam to infringe rights, harass others, invade privacy, distribute illegal content, or disrupt services or networks.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of recordings and other content you create. You are solely responsible for that content and for where you publish it. CourtSide Labs does not claim ownership of your recordings and does not host them on its own servers.

4. Third-party platforms

YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Google Play, AdMob, custom RTMP providers, and other services are operated by third parties. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability, eligibility rules, moderation, stream retention, or account decisions.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Paid features are processed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's payment, cancellation, and refund rules. Prices and available plans may change as permitted by law. You can manage subscriptions through your Google Play account.

6. App license

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GameCam on compatible devices. You may not sell, redistribute, reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.

7. Availability and updates

GameCam is provided on an "as available" basis. Streaming quality and recording performance depend on your device, storage, network, provider, and environment. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and may require an update for continued use.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameCam is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free recording or streaming. Always verify battery, storage, permissions, network quality, framing, and stream status before relying on the App.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CourtSide Labs will not be liable for lost recordings, missed events, failed streams, account restrictions, loss of profits, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of GameCam or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

10. Suspension

We may restrict access to GameCam if required by law, platform policy, security concerns, or material violation of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
